What is Botle and How It Started

Botle stands for Book One-Time Learning Experiences.

The idea came from something I noticed repeatedly.

People are always looking for things to do. They want to try a boxing class, learn tennis, attend a yoga session, play pickleball, or join a run club. The interest is there.

The problem is actually getting started.

Most activities are built around memberships, packages, subscriptions, or long-term commitments. If you just want to try something once, the experience is surprisingly frustrating.

You find a class on Instagram. You send a DM. Maybe you get a reply. Maybe you don't. You fill out a form. Someone calls you back. You ask about pricing. You ask about timings.

By that point, most people have already lost interest.

I kept thinking there should be a simpler way.

What if trying something new was as easy as booking a movie ticket?

That's how Botle started.

The First Principle

People don't know what they like until they try it.

Someone who hates going to the gym might love boxing.

Someone who thinks yoga is boring might become obsessed with it after one class.

Someone looking to lose weight might discover that tennis is what keeps them active.

The hardest part is not consistency.

The hardest part is taking the first step.

Botle exists to make that first step easier.

What is Botle?

Botle is a platform to discover and book experiences.

Today, that mostly means fitness and wellness experiences such as:

  • Yoga
  • Pilates
  • Boxing
  • Tennis
  • Pickleball
  • Dance
  • Strength training
  • Run clubs

Instead of committing to a membership immediately, you can simply book a class and show up.

No back-and-forth.

No uncertainty.

No commitment before you've even experienced it.

Why "One-Time" Matters

Most people think one-time bookings are the business model.

For us, they're the starting point.

The goal isn't to help someone attend one class.

The goal is to help them discover something they genuinely enjoy.

If someone finds a studio, coach, sport, or community they love through Botle, we've done our job.

Not every experience has to turn into a membership.

But every membership usually starts with a first experience.

What We're Building

We're not trying to build another fitness marketplace.

We're trying to build the easiest way for people to discover new experiences.

The best conversations don't start with:

"I need to work out."

They start with:

"Want to try a boxing class this weekend?"

"Let's play tennis."

"I found this interesting class. Come with me."

That's the behaviour we want to encourage.

Because most people aren't looking for fitness.

They're looking for something fun, social, and worth leaving the house for.

Fitness just happens to be the outcome.

We're Just Getting Started

Botle started with a simple belief.

People should be able to explore new interests without committing months of their time or thousands of rupees upfront.

Book the class.

Show up.

Try something new.

You never know what you'll end up loving.

That's what Botle is all about.

Book One-Time Learning Experiences.
